    I came across this entry during an online search for the ‘light’ variety of Shap granite. As I recall, each sample for the original Triton Stone Library measures 150mm x 150mm x 20mm (or the Imperial equivalent)…

    My mistake wrt block size.I was thinking of something else, concerning the scale. I have encountered Shap granite for entrance steps and as polished door surrounds for several Victorian buildings in Sheffield and in Leeds…
